Tactilis Pose

A reference-image viewer for artists. Browse large reference packs, run timed pose sessions, and study shape and value, on iPad, iPhone and Mac.

Coming soon to the App Store. Now in beta on TestFlight.

Your reference packs, ready to draw from

Drop in a folder or a .zip of images, even thousands of them, and it becomes an album. You can browse it while it imports. Scroll a grid of thumbnails, open any image full screen, zoom in, flip it, and step through the set with a tap or the arrow keys.

Tactilis Pose works on a copy, so your originals stay exactly as they are.

Studies

Time

Time poses for practice, watch a set as a slideshow, or play it back fast enough to read as motion or a 360° turnaround, forwards or in reverse.

Shape

A grid and an envelope over the photo, to check proportion and angles.

Value

Grayscale, value bands, tints, and heat and cool maps, to see the photo’s values.

Studies combine: a grid over a value map, or a timed session in grayscale.

Free to view, Pro to study

Importing and viewing your albums is free. Tactilis Pose Pro unlocks the Time, Shape and Value studies and sharing images. It’s a one-time purchase, not a subscription, for iPhone, iPad and Mac, with Family Sharing.

Private by design

No account, no cloud, no tracking. Your images never leave your device. Privacy Policy
